Luciad (Hexagon)

I did this internship abroad at Luciad’s headquarters in Leuven, Flanders. I joined the LuciadFusion team and participated in daily meetings in English. The project aimed to integrate GeoMesa into LuciadFusion to publish spatio-temporal data via WMS/WFS services.

I successfully loaded and exposed GeoMesa data through WMS/WFS services. I used a NoSQL Cassandra database for distributed storage. I also explored dynamic heatmap generation from spatio-temporal data using convolution approaches.
